Mindi Anderson currently lives and works in Las Vegas, NV.  She holds a BA in Psychology from Southern California University and is a Certified Health Counselor through training from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition and a Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor

My extensive training in a variety of Holistic Therapies allows me  to offer a unique blend of alternatives to clients seeking physical, emotional and spiritual fitness along with flexibility in not just body but in mind as well. My goal is to help my clients create a feeling of over all well being…I want you to LIVE your life instead of just simply existing within it.

I work with individuals who are looking to transition into a more holistic lifestyle and learning more about what is sustainable long term for your highest health.  There is no one way for everyone.  YOU are an individual and we work on the WHOLE you – your career, social connectedness, home life, and more…..we address these areas and more.

I understand first hand that it is a challenge to be sure we are eating the right amount of this or that and taking care of our bodies so my passion to educate others and be that facilitator who helps you discover what will work into your lifestyle is extremely high.  The last few years have presented me with some challenges that made me look deeper into what I thought was right for me, trial and error testing to find that balance of what works for my mind, body and my life.  There is so much more to the whole person than diet and exercise.

I am an Integrative Health and Wellness Counselor, Certified Pilates and Yoga Instructor and Master NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programmer) Practitioner.  My goal is to reach as many people as possible to educate them on their path to discovering their highest health.  I know first-hand the challenges we all face at one point or another in our lives when we ask the question “WHAT do I eat? HOW do I exercise?” I have also faced my own personal set of health issues that has led to a total transformation of how I live, work and play.  It is not JUST about Food and Exercise – though these are KEY parts – we are a WHOLE person and there are many layers to us.  Food actually comes secondary to how we feel in the other areas of our lives: Social Connectedness, Career, Finances, Creativity, Faith and Spirituality, Relationships, Stress Levels and more.  The programs I offer to my clients are custom tailored to the individual.  There is not a blueprint that works for everyone, we are all different.  My mission is to bring health and wellness education to everyone helping people go within and find out what a sustainable lifestyle will be for them and no two are the same.

Beginning my college studies in Psychology I have the background to find out what and how a behavior is developed and how that imprints on our lives as we get older.  Metaphysics helps identify root cause of certain issues and conditions.  Pilates and Yoga addresses the physical and spiritual aspects of our personalities and helps us see things in a newly refreshed perspective and once this is realized things will fall into place naturally – If you can change one behavior the others will follow.  My most recent training was with The Institute for Integrative Nutrition which opened my eyes to the many, many dietary theories out there and the massive amounts of information that are out there – no wonder we are confused!  I am here to clear the cobwebs of confusion bringing to light what you really need to know about yourself and how to live a vibrant healthy life!  Currently I am enrolled in a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Ashtanga Vinyasa Certification Training to continue my education of this great ancient practice.

I have many projects in the works for her city, Las Vegas, which she has called home for almost a decade.  Her wish is to build her community up with health and wellness and helping people achieve their dreams as I achieve mine. Catch her soon to be released book “This is What the Forties Feels Like” later 2012.  A humorous yet realistic look at my and others’ journeys through life so far.
